Personal and Animal Names in Japanese and Russian Texts Translated from a Fantasy Novel

This paper analyzed a Russian translation text and the Japanese of Harry Potter Philosopher’s Stone from viewpoint Descriptive Translation Studies proposed by Toury (1995).
